We would like to acknowledge and extend our appreciation to those who joined the Gilman & Company Drywall team on the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition project!  It was an amazing ride! 

Less than two weeks prior to the start of the project, we received the call from Don Pratt of McKernon Group inviting us to participate in the project.  The location of the project was confidential, so making the commitment meant assembling a team of at least 25 skilled volunteers in less than two weeks and not being able to tell them exactly when or where they would be called to action!

That call came at 12am Sunday morning, September 9, 2007!  After an hour ride to Athens, Vermont, the convoy of drywallers converged on the site.  With amazing efficiency, our team installed, taped and sanded over 10,000 square feet of drywall in less than twelve hours, a feat that would normally take several weeks!  The steadfast efforts of our team even caught up the schedule, which had been over two hours behind. 

Still, the highlight of this experience was the coming together of a group of great people for a common cause!  Thanks again guys!
